Director of Special Education

Our special education directors provide weekly on-site time with each of our member schools. Following an assessment of the special education program, a customized strategic action plan is developed and implemented alongside building leadership to ensure a high-performing program for special education students. Non-member schools are also able to access our directors for consultation services. Services include, but are not limited to: 

  • Weekly On-Site Time with Teachers and Administrators
  • Staff Trainings – Aligned with school’s strategic action plan and/or corrective action plans 
  • Child Study Guidance and Leadership 
  • Budget Review and Guidance 
  • Fiscal & Program Monitoring 
  • Due Process Meeting Attendance, as requested 
  • Review, Revision and Implementation of District Policies and Procedures 
  • Off-Site Consultation and Guidance
